Working artist in Phoenix Arizona, after ten years in San Francisco. Her painting is dedicated to expanding her synesthetic aptitude in order to operate as a transparent channel, translating music from an auditory perception into a visual perspective. Brushwork is minimal in her acrylic canvas and wood panel pieces; the majority of her work is created through dance; and the colors, shapes and textures she experiences listening to music. Each piece is created moment-to-moment, exploring the concept of “presence” and how to exercise this abrupt surrender to humanity. DaLeigh’s photography is largely long-light and double exposure, featuring nature, places of interest or thematic subjects.
DaLeigh is the resident artist of The Clarendon Hotel & Spa, and participates in group and solo exhibitions locally and nationally. Scheduled visits to her studio in The Armory located in the historic Grand Arts District are welcome. Please send commission requests to firstname.lastname@example.org
